| people who drink at least 1 DIET soda a day are over 50% more likely to suffer from obesity and diabetes than those who don't drink soda at all. And for those that drink regular soda? Only about 30% more likely that those who don't drink it at all.

| Like a Baby Giraffe learning to walk ... that's what it's felt like for the past few weeks ... either that or a coma victim just waking up. That's a more accurate discription. Familiar things made that much more unfamiliar by the passage of time.

| What's this? A new Xanga post? Jack Confused!
It's been a while since I last posted on this, so I thought I'd give it a whirl. The fourth season changes are on their way, and we're in for some big ones, all of course revolving around the double wedding season premier. I have to tell you, I'm a 'bit sick at what will take place between August 4th and August 8th. A tearful goodbye and reunion is sure to consume all of the events taking place as we all move into, what some consider to be the most dramatic season in most shows.
In case you haven't noticed, I have been comparing my life to a television show, what some will be surprised to know is that it all started on Freshman move in day. Amazing enough, all of the supporting players are still the same from those first few days, while many have been added and some have been removed, the core is still there. I love them all and it will be sad to see such a dramatic change happen, but at the same time I cannot wait to see what they will do with the leap forward. In my own life, also I am eager to see me take my first steps without the support system that I have built around myself.
